Navy Dads

For 11 - 9 Divisions (069-076 and 911)

Hoping for clear roads and no snow for graduation.  We southerners don't do well in the snow!

As a recap, my son Patrick is in div 076. My wife is friends with a few mom's up there, & has been able to get a couple nice updates. We heard this week Jim, that 076 was currently ranked 2nd at that time. My son seems to like his commanders & said in one of his earlier letters he wants to make them #1 with this group for the first time! That would be great! And more pride for us, right?! Ha!

Congrats on getting "THE CALL" Mike Paylor! Although, we may be in the air when our son calls us, so we sent a letter telling him to be sure to leave a voice mail just in case he can't reach us! Oh well!

Jim, our flight out of Nola is 9:35, should put us in Milwaukee roughly noon. And after we get luggage & rental car, it's about a 35 min drive to Waukegan.

Got a call earlier from our son! It was short because someone "messed up" but their overall performances have been very good. They did not win Captain's Cup, but they have a good shot at Hall of Fame, which I think is overall performance. That would be awesome!

When you say the call, as in passing Battlestations. What division is your son in? Patiently waiting, but the suspense is killing me.
Hasanyone heard from anyone in Division 072?

watch your OPSEC....Battle Stations schedules are considered classified......

Ok thanks didn't know that.

not a problem Tim....welcome to the world of the military !!!!!

What can we look at in terms of rolls from east Chicago to Great Lakes?
We will be coming from Indianapolis.

Heard from my son again today.  His division (Ship 11 Div 069) won the Captains Cup!! Also surprised to hear he has gained 17lbs.  Barely made the minimum weight going in.

GREAT news Mike. Sounds like your son was the opposite of mine. Christian had to lose 40 lbs to make it in on the max. When I heard from him he had lost another 5 inches on his waist and had to get new NWU's.
COME on Friday!!!!!!
