Navy Dads

Got up this morning, made coffee, and was sitting back at my desk minding my own business when the wife said that RTC Command had uploaded some pictures on facebook of the recruits. 612 pictures to be exact. As I took a sip of coffee, the wife (She who must be obeyed), instructed me to load the site and start analyzing the pics for a glimpse of our son. Six hundred and twelve pictures folks. I was wondering what I did to draw this assignment. But I mustered the will to attack the task at hand (with the wife occasionally asking "have you seen him yet? Well...have you?") and diligently, methodically, started clicking pics. Over, and over. It seems out of 612, 540 was the lucky number.

Yep. Mission accomplished. Hold your applause please.

Yes, on Xmas morning, we got a glimpse of our son in his working uniform. He looks healthy. He looks sane. He looks like a US Navy Man. Can I finish my coffee now? So....

all you boys and girls, if you have been good, then I wouldn't be surprised if you can find a action photo of the newest American Hero in your life on facebook. If you've been really, really good then perhaps you'll find your recruit on like, the first or second photo.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

What a wonderful Christmas present!
Thank you! We are in Bangor visiting our son at the base. What a blessing to see him and his wife after his first major deployment on the Louisiana. Merry Christmas! And our and my best to my fellow Navy dads! God bless you and your young Heros who protect our country and our freedoms!

I can only access FaceBook thru my phone... Talk about BLINDING!! Is there a way I can email all the pics from that post to my email so I can pull them up at work and take a better look?

Work seems to have this thing about being on FB when you're supposed to be working.... <wink>

any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

crapola.

Shows how much I know about computer stuff.... Guess I'll invest in a magnifying glass! Altho' I did find 1 maybe 2 pics of my Boy.

Thanks for the quick answer!! :)

I mean it's about 100Mbytes- emails are limited generally as to size though downloads can be much bigger than uploads.  You would have to select them all and then you could try to copy or email once selected

Thanks I found my Hero on pic 200

One thing to say now that I've finished looking at all 612 pics, I think I've seen the face of every recruit in Boot camp right now. It's "Find Waldo", Navy Boot Camp edition.
