Navy Dads

My daughter wants to join the navy, not only do I support her, I am also proud of her. But I worried for her that she may not be able to get in. When being young and want to fit in with the crowd you  sometimes make the wrong choices in life. Then you wake up and realize that this is not life you want. So you take that first important step to change the direction you are heading. You voluntarily go into rehab. My question is has anyone faced this problem and can she still join the navy?

Ron my daughter is also thinking of joining our son has almost 8 years in the Navy so far. Any way i called a recruiter this week . according to the young man i talked too things are changing meaning the requirements for enlistment. The reason i was given is 1. because of the amount of young people who are having problems with finding employment.
Because of the economy. The other reason 2. i was giving is the cutbacks in all the military branches by the current administration.
So my advice to you is go talk to a honest recruiter they are out there, i found one here in Arizona .
Good luck and have a nice day !
Rex another ole HOOAH !
Rex and Ron we have a group on here that is called ask a recruiter. there are a few recruiters that monitor that group and answer any questions that are thrown their way you might want to check out this group and ask your questions there. You might find some good questions that your not sure about will get answered there. swing by and give drop some questions on them.
