Navy Dads

My recruit arrived at Boot Camp on September 19, 2022, two  weeks ago. Still have not received the form letter with his ship and division  so therefore, no address yet.  I've read this should happen within a week to 10 days. Should I be concerned? I appreciate your reply.

Do not be worried. I am not sure, but both my boys had to do a two week quarantine in a hotel before boot camp. ( Even though both of them got Covid durning boot camp) If they are still doing this nonsense then it will be a bit before you get the ship and division address. If anything concerning has happened. You would be informed right away.

Hang in there and post an update when you can. I am sure everything is fine.

Thanks for the encouragement, Eric. Guess I'll just have to hang in there until we get that letter. I appreciate the reply.

Just an FYI...I sent a message to RTC via FaceBook messenger and they are no longer doing two week quarantine at the beginning.

Thanks for the info, Jim.

Just wanted to let you know we heard from our guy today. Got my first letter off to him via Sandboxx already. Thanks again!

AWESOME !!!  Boot camp can be rough. It means so much to them to hear from home.
