<p>The Navy doesn't want to lose her, and she will grduate. They will hold her back until she can finish her run time. Try to relax and not worry as communication is limited while recruits are in Basic. Try contacting her recruiter, they can usually get more details but they are "limited" under a privacy act of just <em>how much</em> they can tell you.</p>

<p>I'm sorry to hear about the troubles your daughter is going through and understand your worries. I'm not exactly sure on the amount of tries they give you to pass the run test but I believe she still gets another chance. If she failed do to an injury they will give her time to heal and take the run test again. I've heard of recruits staying weeks past their projected PIR due to reasons as this one.</p>
