Hello Chuck, Nick is starting to get his sea legs. He said after the brief shake down he had trouble planting his left foot when he walked. I am sure he will get used to it after RIMPAC is finished. Nick loves Hawaii. If he would have listened to me earlier he could have had his car there. He may have been able to enjoy it much more. Best of luck to you and yours. Gary T.

Hi Gary T,
My son is is assigned to a Partrol Squadron at Marine Base Hawaii. He is is in his second year of enlistment. He likes the work and most of his fellow sailors. He is enjoying some of the things to do in Hawaii.

Hello all, my name is Gary T. and my son Nicholas is a GM on a cruiser in Pearl. Nick has been in the NAVY since 13/01/09 and thus far is still planning on re-enlisting. He is currently on sea trials then maneuvers through July before returning to Calif for his second C-School. Hope to get to know all of the active members in this group. It seems like Chuck is that member so hello Chuck. Gary T.

My son squadron is next to deploy. It will be near the end of the year.

Ours heading out on his first deployment last week and only communications so far is from ombudsman to let us know email is down :-0

I work for a adult beverage dist. co. as a industrial maint. tech. Iam a army vetran,not retired , tank mechanic. Mybrother in law is at Kings Bay sub base,he is on the West Virginia.

I work for USDA and pretty much have a 40 hr. week. Navy Veteran...sub service...not retired from the military. Don't worry about a slow responce I check once most days.
