Yes the Skinny Dragons. Andrew wants to get his warfare Specialist Qual Packet soon. I've been telling him that if he is doing quals he should get the signatures to count for the wings too. I know it will be a lot of work. Ive been through the Submarine quals and earned my dolphins.

Hi Chuck. Air Warfare Specialist wings. Very nice. VP-4, The Skinny Dragons! Are they still out of Hawaii? They have a very long history of being involved in just about every conflict. Quite a history.

Rich,
Andrew is now working the flight line. He says that he could be a yellow shirt by spring if he works through his quals. I have been encouraging him to start on his Air Warfare quals. also.

Hi Bob. My son graduated on 10/16 in Div 362. He is actually going into GM school. I couldn't talk him into AE before he left.
Your daughter is in for some intense training that encompasses many different aspects of aviation electronics. It's an exciting career and I wish her the best! Please keep in touch!

Hi Devons Dad,
I didn't know that your son was going to be an AE. That's what my daughter is going to be. She PIR'ed last Friday (16 Oct) and left that afternoon for Pensacola. I believe they graduated on the same day. She was in div 357. Is your son down there yet?

Welcome to my Aviation Electricians group! I was an AE in the Navy from 1985 to 1989 and have pursued a great civilian career in this same field ever since. I am currently an Avionics Supervisor at a corporate jet maintenance center (Bombardier Aerospace) which has service centers in CT, KS, FL, TX, and AZ.
If your son or daughter is looking for a career in aviation electronics after they get out, send me a message. I would love to help my fellow AE brothers and sisters out.
This is a highly sought after skill your sailor has and they have a prosperous future ahead of them!
So lets get started! Send those comments about AE School, Pensacola, their squadrons, anything!! Go Navy!
