So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

I would imagine they must know each other. She was really happy for ATT to be over and to get started on A school.

Ken, my husband classed up yesterday for FC A school as well. seemed like his ATT school took forever.

My daughter just classed up for 'FC' A school yesterday. Does anyone else have a son or daughter currently in A school?

Congrats Theresa, good luck to your sailor! Our son will complete C school early next year in San Diego. He just got orders for USS Ronald Reagan, we're all pumped up about that! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and hooyah to all our sailors!

Can't believe we have come upon the end of C school.  Now it is time for them to go the fleet - another adventure for us parents!  Mine is going to Japan - any others?  That was definitely not my first choice, but it was his - and he is quite happy!

Been a while checking up on NavyDads.  Just got back from visit to San Diego to see Alex and his shipmates getting ready to graduate C School for CIWS.  Got to visit with Nate, he's doing well Tim, and we all had a great time.  We visited a Brewery in Escondido and were able to tour the USS Hulsey (DDG-97), we were impressed!  Plan to go back in a few weeks while the weather is still good.  Hope everyone's sailor is safe and doing well!

I have asked for updates and have not had a response yet. If anyone gets any updated info please send me a message and I'll update what I have on the top of the group.

The info posted was provided by FC1(SW) Sean M. Officer. He was Leading Petty Officer for Combat Systems 'A' Schools and oversaw the FC, ET, IC and GM 'A' schools.  If you have info to the contrary we would appreciate updates in a format we could post so we could correct info.

Just made arrangements to visit Michael over the Labor Day weekend. He should be in phase 3 liberty so he can spend most of the weekend with us. He thinks he has duty on Sunday. Hopefully not but if so, we will take what we will get.
