Jim, one of the hard things the ask for is for volunteers to help at Pebble Beach. LOL

Mike, thanks for the info. That seems to be true for almost everyone with A school at GL, but there was one guy posting here that said they held his sailor until the following Tuesday, and that he ended up with some watch duty on Sat/Sun.

My son said he will be leaving either the 7th or 9th. They told him he may get some leave!

having said that, he will be learning one of the "difficult" languages. So he will have his work cut out for him once class starts.
