My son graduates GL 02/05 and his school doesn't start until May 3. He will be in Monterey, which is such hard duty. LOL

Can't wait to find out when he's going to class up for A school. Hopefully when we get the "I'm a sailor" call sometime tomorrow, he'll have already gotten his orders and he'll at least know if he's gradNgo.

That's excellent that he's got a room mate that he gets along with...can imagine that'd really suck otherwise.

My son graduated GL on 1/15/10. His A-School for sonar tech training (STG) is in Point Loma, CA. Actually, not far from where we live and very close to my parents. His A-School is on hold right now, so he's just doing general duties at this point in time. Their work day ends at 1500 hrs. m-th and 1330 on Friday's. He was able to get limited phase 3 liberty to visit with us this last weekend which was nice. He is very happy with the location and likes his roommate which is a plus. He's also glad to get his cell phone back and have access to the outside world again.
