Yes Dave. My son is on Ship 02 DIV 903

My son is Ship 07 DIV 009. If anyone had information on how they are doing please pass it along.

Got a call from My son last night about 7PM. He seems to be doing well. We have received 3 letters so far but they have been pretty short. Anyone else get a call?

got our first letters on wed and hoping to get a phone call this weekend

My wife had a call (VM) from our Son on Wednesday. He didn't sound well at all. He was pretty tore up about PT test. Hard to hear your son and not comfort him. I have written from Afghanistan but I can only hope he gets them before he graduates. I know logically he will make it through but emotionally taxing. I know they will get him where he needs to be on PT but....Just worried I guess.

My son is also Ship 07 Division 9. My wife also got a call. He sounded stressed.

Thank you for those words Jim! I went  to  Marine Corps Boot camp back in 1990. I have a good grasp on Navy traditions and values, lingo etc. Still as a Dad its hard...I miss my boy and will soon have a Navy Man! I could not be prouder!

I'm in the same boat. I was a Marine way back in 1981 and just sent my son off to boot camp last Wednesday. I have a real good idea about what's going on, but, yes, it is still difficult thinking about what he's going through. His best friend started Navy boot camp in early September, went sad panda and was sent home within about two weeks.

I'm certain my son will do just fine.

Anyone Hear anything? For Dec 2nd?
