Kyle, my son has his PIR on 2/29, he just got his orders for 3/16 and Pin on 4/20 also. He will be there next week. Waiting for school to start.

Congratulations to your newly pinned sailors. Wishing them (and parents) the very best. My nephew is getting pinned this week. Wish I could be there, but at least he's heading home on leave.

A great time in SA. Very nice to meet the Beals and their son. Our trip had a few little moments but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect time. This parenting thing. It never ends, does it? Or the saying goodbye.

Terry:

I am heading to San Antonio on the 3rd for my son's pinning. I take it's well worth the trip?

What a great time in SA at the pinning ceremony! So good to meet you, Nadine, your husband, Richard, and your terrific son! So glad they found his med records! Take care!

Yes, but he's asked us to keep it confidential until he actually gets there. To say the least, he was happy with his first assignment. Looking forward to getting out of town and be a part of his pinning ceremony. Terry

Terry - that's so great. Does Justin know where he'll be going?

We're getting anxious to leave for our son's (Justin) pinning on 2/19. Not sure where we'll stay but as long as we're close to the base it should be ok.

Jim:

yep pretty cool on the training. I know that being in the MSF has got to be more exciting then just wandering around a base. I did some of that and know that it is a lot more fun to be out doing something. Sean as of yesterday did not have any more info as to where they are going. My wife and I and his sister are going down for his "pining" on the 5th and really are looking forward to it.
