Alan.
Everyone we know that has done FMTB in CA has really enjoyed it. Here is a link to the FMTB West page for things to look up and help you follow along. Our son is in San Diego and just loves it there. Good luck!

I would have like to attend so I could have met all his bromines (Rat Pack) who he share many a good time with over the 4 months. Yes, A school is a great time to enjoy/remember. Yes, after cracking the books for 8hrs/day for weeks, the goal is to move on and head out to the fleet.

When they come in singing "anchors aweigh" gave me chills, and you get the opportunity to take pictures with classmates and instructors...

Alan and Eric - My son graduated from A school some time ago and we still remember the experience. I would recommend it if it is possible to make it.

Alan,
I went to my son's graduation in May and would highly recommend going if you can. It was much smaller and more personal than the PIR graduation.

Kevin, thanks for your prayers for my son. In a letter I recieved today he said God has worked in amazing ways keeping them safe. Likewise I will remember your wife, son and you in mine. God is still in the healing business. Take care. Dennis
