Blondie, what a wonderful video!! I am so happy that there are people out there like those Patriotic Riders, who care about our men fighting.

Cora, my daughter is also stationed in Japan, but stayed to direct the rescue and then sustaining life.  I too was confused why if they were evacuating they couldn't come home? cost maybe? flight time? housing?????? who knows what they are thinking. My daughter has stated all leave has been evoked, not sure if this is just for her rank, her ship, her command???????  I'm sorry, no one really has any answers.  Hugs to you I once went 19 months without seeing my baby when she was in the ME it was heart breaking. So, I truely know how you feel. our last holiday of nay kind with her was Christmas 2006 until this past Christmas when we traveled to Japan to see her. we went into major debt but wouldn't have missed the chance for anything!

Hooyah.....son done with SERE!!! Should be arriving at Tinker soon, if he's not already there. So glad that he is going to be there with some guys he knows from P'cola...especially a son of an awesome mom I've gotten to know on N4M. I can't wait to hear about his new training and all the opportunities he discovers!!

Tim, when did he grow up?  isn't it amazing? I bet you're busting with Pride!  I'll pray fro his safe travels and quick check-in the first 2 weeks are usually boring although busy when they hit a new command.

We've had a terrible winter and spring not much better. storms and flooding........tried to do the 7 mile walk with christ yesterday, I only made the first 5, then drove the rescue van the rest of the way. it was 42 degrees, with 35-42 mph winds and rained the whole way!  Misserable! no miss haps (YEAH) everyone made it a few rode awhile, to warm up and rest but all arrived at the Basilica safe and sound. it was a full day(7am-9pm) with the Roasry, Passion, Singing and Mass,

back to our house, (6 of us) showers, laundry and supper then off to the living Stations. I was in bed by 10:30, i found out I'm not as young as I was when we started this 15 years ago. LOL today I'm at work, then cooking supper for my side of the family(small). Sunrise service on Easter and then Lunch for hubby's family(huge), hoping to have Sunday evening to rest.

My prayer is that everyone have a safe and Glorious Easter. May all of you have some kind (big or small) contact with your sailors. God's Blessings upon you.
