Amber- Although I am a OPSEC practitioner and believer, I do not see where there were any violations. You lightened my mood!

I was trying to lighten to the mood, I'm not even waiting on the  info for the tiger cruise or anything like that, I go to the FRG meetings. I was talking about waiting on mail, I was talking about how long it takes the MAIL to get to him and back to me, I thought you guys had to snail mail your info back to the ship which in turn wouldn't ever make it by their deadline of June 3rd.

OPSEC, NOT INCONVENIENT. A LIFE SAVER.

OPSEC!

Amber, the forms that need to be filled out are sent by your sailor via email, and are to be returned by email. Deadline June 3. I just emailed my husbands.
It's the date information, places to stay etc THATs being sent by snail mail (OPSEC)..which does make it a bit inconvenient to plan flights etc!
Comment by Amber Presley on June 1, 2013 at 5:19pm

You would think that they would  account for 6-8 weeks for snail mail, it takes sometimes a month for my husband to get his care package, why in the world would they think that you could get those forms and send them back with the deadlines they had set? Obviously none of them will be back to the ship on time. Hurry up and wait!

Got forms today and my sailor daughter said she needed them back ASAP because the needed to be turned in tomorrow.

Got the TC forms as well via email to send back. Guess we are all still waiting for the snail mail information with dates, hotels, specifics!
