Ditto below comment on TC, my sailor said both my and my husbands name is on the list (yay! both lf us!) and info should be coming via mail.

For what it is worth, my son emailed me today for my address and such for a TC. All preliminary of course and could mean nothing, but at least it is the step in the right direction.

I was hoping that I could make a TC but it seems this deployment just isnt working out for my son and I.  When the were in Bahrain, I couldnt get off work and I will Norfolk and the outer banks and then back to the sand pit before they get back to the states.

Heard the same from my son. They are taking names, addresses and emails of people that want to attend, but it has not been oficially approved yet.

Hey folks, not to disappoint anyone but no word on TC from what my son and his buddies have said. Same thing comin out of Norfolk. I will post anything when I get word. Usually the TC is a last minute thing done before their heading home. And to robert green your son or daughter will get tickets and e-mail you were to be and what times. Also check the facebook for CVN-69 for info. God bless the men and women on the IKE, god speed and come home safe!!

I sent a friend request to discuss further. I talked to my Son last night and he said the CO did not confirm it is on but it was favorable. I sure hope it is. My son said he put my name on the list but it is unclear how the physical etc. will proceed.
