We offer our prayers to the sailors and families on The Nimitz. They deployed from North Island today. A little smile in my heart as the Ike's relief is now under weigh. Prayers all the way around on this proud Navy Day!

Thank you that all are safe. Times like these remind us ever so vividly the thin line between safety and disaster our sailors walk every day and night! Our prayers need to be ever vigilant to our God that He continues through His grace and mercy to protect all our loved ones! Always scary when an aircraft goes down.  Very glad to hear the crew are fine.   The plane was from my son's squadron.

Gregory, I think that Ralph is wondering what he does..for example my husband is a Machinest Mate, a couple of  friends of ours are Engine Man, Avaiation Boastswain Mate, and his brother was a submarine sonar technician.
