My son was not able to use the phone card I sent him. He had to purchase one on the ship that I was able to add money to.
My son told me that he didn't think the regular international cards works on the ship and you need a ship to shore card. I would like to get him one but do not know where I would get somthing like that.
Great picture...

Mark, SO glad you got to talk with your son. It makes all the difference in the world when we at least know they are OK. I'll let my son know.
Forrest thanks we finally got a call from him today. He took a watch for one of his shipmates for a ship to shore phone card. He is doing well and enjoying the deployment. I asked about email and he said that they still have not gotten him a account. Guess you need to have hookups in IT.
Mark, My son is still trying to locate your boy. He is not on the ship's e-mail list and works in a different unit and shift than my son. That makes it difficult with the long days they are putting in, but my son says he is trying...Hang in there!
