John
Was that on the TC for the Stennis
Just got good news from my daughter, Bill and Doug see you soon with your Raptor sailors!
I got to skype my daughter on Friday when they got to port how awesome to she her face after almost 8mos we talked for 1 1/2 hrs she looked and sounded great. I asked her about the medical forms she was going to check also told her I want to book my airfare and hotel but it would be nice to know about the medical. So I dont know either.
I actually got to talk to my son yesterday while they were in port and he is going to check on my medical clearance as I have not heard back either.
Has anyone gotten their medical clearance yet for this year's TC?
William, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Tiger Cruise 2012. You may want to check out the Waikiki Gateway. It is an older hotel but was clean with two queens I paid I believe aroung $80/night. Check out their website www.waikikigateway.com. They offer discounts. To get their from the airport the night I arrived, I took Robert's Hawaii Express Shuttle that dropped off at the main entrance $12. One of the popular breakfast places a short walk away is Eggs N' Things. It was ok and fills up quick. My sailor and one of his buddies and I got there around 5:30 for a 6:00 opening. We were not sleeping, so why not. I will not be making the trip this year, but for all of you Tigers taking part this year, Enjoy It with your Sailor and safe travels.
Hey Everyone. Has anyone had any luck finding a hotel in pearl harbor yet? I tried the Hale KOA but my son would have to make the reservations and check in with me and I don't know if that can happen or not. Any suggestions from former tigers?
Thanks,
Bill
Congrats to Allyson for passing the test and God bless all our sailers.
Bravo Zulu Allyson and Congrats Phil!
