Orasa,
Welcome Aboard!! my son is part of the Air Wing aboard Stennis. When it comes to details about Homecoming, please contact the Ship's Ombudsman. Here is a link to the Stennis' web page for the Ombudsmen for the Ship and Air Wing. http://www.cvn74.navy.mil/famserv.html We do not post dates and times here as a consideration of Operational Security (OPSEC).
My name is Orasa, mother of sailer in CVN74. My daughter was on shipped on Feb 14, 2013. She is very new so I have no any idea. I heard news from my daughter and on yours comment said that the ship will be on San Diego Port. Do you know when will be there? I live in Los Angeles then I will drive to SD to meet my girl. Anyone have any idea how to do and to prepare?
They already have over 1815 names and will "widdle down significantly" that number. :(
