I'm jealous! wish I was making the cruise. I hope you all have a great time and make sure to get some great pics. Also if you bump into my son tell him I said hello and can't wait for him to get home.

My wife and eldest son will be flying out Tuesday morning headed for Hawaii and the Tiger cruise. I went last year with our other daughter and youngest son. An experience we all will never forget. We are all so greatful they are defending our country.

Do you ever use the care line? The Reagan Family Services web site also has several articles about who was sent to provide aid. I keep up with every thing each day. I have a lot invested in my son. He has not leaked anything as much of what I heard is from Captain Norton and the Command Master Chief. They update the careline if there is anything to be concerned about. The dates for HI and HC are on their up dates. Spies and "bad" people know where the Reagan is 24/7. You can not hide a carrier any where in the oceans on the earth. The groups stationed on HI that are providing support were land based and able to load full of the needed supplies. If you were ever stationed on a ship you would be aware that they try to lessen the amounts of supplies when headed home. My husband sits here just shaking his head he remembers coming home and they had no bug juice, bread, milk, peanut butter, or jelly on the ship. That is what people who did not like the food ate. I know we are a Navy family since 1975 and actually my husband was in the airforce before he met me. The captain's update was to squash the rumors that they would be delayed. The Obsbudsman also has updates on the web site and careline. They always try to keep the rumors down.
