EG, sounds like alot of fun!! I will plan on taking a trip to S.D. during that time - it's only a 7 hour drive for me. I should be able to bring Billy with me cause he'll be done with his C-Schools by then. Please keep me posted!

Paige it will be for everyone. I would love to meet everybody. I hope you'll plan a trip to SD when we're there. Paul is going to try and make it also. I believe his B'day is the day Evan's ship comes in. So it will be a meet & greet/ B'day/ throwdown party. I would like for as many of us dads, moms, Sailors, etc to just meet up and meet one another, I think it would be fun.

Your welcome, EG. All these events should help keep the sailors morale boosted.

Will your greet night be for just family/parents of the Reagan or can other Support Group 7 members join in? I know Billy hasn't reported to his ship yet, but I would enjoy the opportunity to meet up with some of the NavyDads members.

I know Evan's email sounded exciting about the celebs visit. It's nice to know that the USO is so great to our children.

Crystal glad Justen got his packages. Evan emailed the other day letting us know that he received his last box. I guess it's time to get some more off to him.

Hope everyone's Sailor is doing well. Two months down, not many more to go. Cindy and I are starting to plan our trip to SD. If anyone in the group is going to at the homecoming we are going to try to meet up with as many members as possible one night. We are waiting to see if this date is going to stick or not. The word from our son puts them in on Wed so we will try to do a greet the night before or Thurs or Fri.

Justen got his box with the gel cushion insoles. He is startingto feel let down adain. This seem to happen off and on. I know he likes to be outdoors and his job is inside. That seems to be a problem. I guess he needs the sunshine. he told me againnot to send so many packages. Then he said how much he likes waiting for them. So I will continue to send biweekly packages. i guess we have to keep everyones spirits up . I hope Evan gets the last box. I know the one they want the most takes the longest.

Evan received three more boxes today. Just one left out there and of course! it's the one with the store shirts, work pants, socks, etc in it. So maybe they had a drop.

from praical experience the mail goes in spurts....for awhile it takes some weeks to catch up to the ship.....there was a dry spell on the TR for a number of weeks then they got a mail shipment....80,000 pounds of all at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
