Will be home thinking of all the 11/06 families next week. Unfortunately my SR was hospitalized over Columbus day weekend, for what we now believe to have been some bad food. But had all the symptoms of an inter-cranial hemorrhage. Even though the hospital cleared him he was placed on LLD (light limited duty) and transferred to the RCU (recruit convalescence unit).
He will eventually finish basic, though we don't know when, but will NOT have a PIR. He will go right from completing battle stations to his A school.
Hi norm. We were about to drive out ourselves but my employer offered to fly us out as a gift. So we jumped on that! My wife and I plan to be at the M&G. Our flight lands at 3:00, so we should have plenty of time to make it there as long as we don't take too long getting the rental car. If we get the car in a timely manner, we might not hit the heavy rush hour traffic.
Chuck: Your right, just 2+ weeks to go. I just read your 9/27 comment that you're from N Jersey. We are driving out on the 5th from South Jersey. Anyone attending the M&G at the Sundance ?
Final countdown!
I wish I had an answer for you. I think it depends on their RDC. Our son called last week (div. 820) and spoke to my wife for 19 minutes exactly. I'm not sure, but I imagine they would only be allowed one call. I could be wrong though.
Anyone hearing from their SR in 374. How many minutes does an SR get on the phone on Saturday and do they get to call several people in an alotted time
Nice to meet you Joe, we're in Franklin, just up the road from you.
Northern NJ (West Milford), and we got or call yesterday afternoon.
As the date gets closer, out group will start expanding. For now, it's nice to meet everyone. Where is everyone from? We are from Northern New Jersey.
My son Carl is in Div 371. Got our first mail from him yesterday.
