Tim He is with a squadron stationed at Whidbey Island. Andrew's command does not deploy. A deployment means the entire command goes. Andrew's squadron send a group to complete a mission. This is called a detachment. Andrew is completing his second five-month detachment in the last 12 months.

Hi guys. My son is scheduled to be back at Whidbey Island NAS in a few weeks. He has been out of the USA most of the last 12 months. I know that his mother and I are glad to see his time over seas coming to an end for this time.

Hey guy Frank and Carl.  I am glad to hear that your sailors ars healthy.  We are making some lose plans for Thanksgiving.  We will firm them up as we see hoe the sailor's schedules go.

Chuck and Frank,

I feel very fortunate, my son has been stationed at Whidbey since C School. I don't get to see as much of him as I would like, but understand. I appreciate what you are going through and want you to know we all appreciate the sacrifice our sons and daughters make serving our great country. One of my son's friends is USMC and stationed in Japan. It's tough when they are that far away, but that's what makes those that serve exceptional. I hope the time apart goes by quickly.
