Proud Dad. Started out as a Combat Medic in the Army Reserves (81-82). Enlisted in the Active Army (82-93) as a Non-Morse Interceptor/Analyst with tours in NTTC Pensacola,
Field Station Berlin, Field Station Kunia-Hawaii and Ft Meade-Maryland. Then joined the Maryland Army National Guard (93-03) as a Military Policeman/Investigator. While in the Guard did some time in Panama, Germany, Italy and a wonderful 7 months in Bosnia (SFOR 10). Finally I retired and am currently serving in the Retired Reserves.

What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
Honestly...being an Army vet (as are my Dad, uncles and brother)....first thought was why the Navy. Although they deny any enfluence, my ex-wife and her side of the family are all Navy vets. However, I am very of proud of her decision to enlist, regardless of the Service.

I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Will this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and be sure to let us know how Kirsten is doing!
