What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
Even though we are land-locked here in Colorado, our son has always wanted to be a sailor. Brenden's Grandfather who was in the Air-Force was a huge influence on him. When we lived in California, his Grandfather would take him to see all the ships. Brenden informed us at the age of 8, that he was going to join the Navy.

We are so happy that he joined the Navy and very proud of him.

Welcome to NavyDads.com Sandy! I'm sure you'll find NavyDads.com as useful, educational and informative as I have. Please explore the site and make some new Navy friends.  Be sure to read the discussions add your comments or start a new discussion.  Browse through the postings in the various groups or start a new one. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...be sure to post them! In my experience someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm blessed to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) recently completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Sandy this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in, get active, and be sure to let us know how Brenden is doing! Please remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors and the fleet in mind at all times. On the right or starboard side of every NavyDads.com page is an area we call About This Site.  Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link for some guidelines as to what we should and should not talk about in a public forum like NavyDads.com.
