What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
NC1 Ward, Welcome to NavyDads. My Grandson Joined the Navy and went to Boot Camp in February, 2008. When I joined I knew very little about the Military. This site has helped me understand what to expect and relieved some of the worries I had. Please go to the Groups Page and check out all of the different discussions. Join in and meet members whose guys or gals have Loved One in training or at their Duty Station. I think you will find that our members are just a great big family and everyone wants to help others understand what to expect and hear how everyone is doing.
Again Welcome and keep us updated to your Sailor’s Progress.
Hello NC1 Ward,..thanks for the greeting. Ian is doing great and he's happy. He's aircrew survival equipmentman. Stationed at Oceana. Going out on his first deployment next month. All the staff on board the Dartmouth office were very informative and helpful during his enlistment last year.
