What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
It was no surprise when my eldest boy Evan enlisted. He was distend for the military ever since he got out of diapers. After earning a bachelor's in History, he chose the Navy.
My youngest son was a complete surprise. I never saw him as wanting to serve. When he announced his decision to Join the Navy, I had a long talk with him. I pulled no punches and told him just how it would be once he got through boot camp. I really liked the Navy, but I wanted him fully informed. He was not deterred.

not sure I know...I just copied some stuff from my blog post a few years ago and it posted fine.  http://www.navydads.com/group/tigerorfamilydaycruise/forum/topics/t...

there is a character limit on how large a discussion post can be - and as a regular post you're limited to 5000 characters.  The limit for discussion posts is bigger, but the number eludes me.

    I'll investigate a little further
