Your son will be just fine.Remember he is in the best Navy in the world.Just wait untill you attend the graduation ceremony...it's awesome! My son just deployed, he graduated bootcamp 10/08 and finished "A" school 2/10. A whole new life has just begun for Jonn. My son says he is so happy that he enlisted.He says that when your under way and at sea,time flies. Out of Boot Camp they gave my son 3 places to pick from ,out of which he would be stationed. His first choice was San Diego, that's where he went. I wish you and your wife well, and remember not to worry... John's well taken care of.

Within 2 to 3 weeks you'll get a box in the mail with all the clothes he had on when he left. Shortly after that he will be calling you at home. Just hang in there for your wife. Before you know it you'll be getting information about graduation...it's always on a friday if I recall.
