What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
My son has wanted to be in Navy since he was about 12 years old and his ultimate goal is to become a SEAL.
My son, Jonathan went to bc on March 9th. Ship 12, Div 159 with PIR scheduled for May 6th. We have not heard anything yet, hopefully this week we'll receive a letter. I can keep you posted if you'd like. Perhaps on the 6th, we can meet.
Just to let you know, we received 2 letters today from our son Jonathan. He said things were tough during P days, but things are getting better now. He was assigned to section leader and the second letter he said he was advanced to Recruit Petty Officer 2nd Class. He seems to be adjusting very well.
He said they only get time on Sundays to write. I hope you hear from your son soon. Let me know.
