    this is the recruit command structure at RTC:http://www.navydads.com/forum/topics/recruit-division-command

    "ppl" is not listed as a position in that structure so I'll have to investigate a little and try to find more.  Going to assume the "l' is leader and one of the "p" stands for petty as in petty officer. I'll see what I can find...........

    I've checked about a bazillion references and all I can surmise is the typical shorthand everyone uses that "ppl" = "people"
