I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) returned in '08 from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).     Paul, thanks for the welcome and the dedeication to the counrty with two children in the service. I had been monitoring Navy Moms over the long weekend(s) and seen all the crazy rumors and it was killing me. Did not know Dads had a website. I signed up for moms and have been awaiting for ADMIN approval for days...and this site was instant. I was hoping to help the moms out with a few questions/rumors, but I guess not. I see there is one recruit I need to run the PFA with to graduate on Friday...of course all under cover. It's all in a days work. OPSEC #1 priority as I have lived it for the past many years.
