- Proud mom who's son is now at Great Lakes ending week 5. I couldn't be prouder of the young man he's become and decision to serve our country. I am of course struggling emotionally with him being gone and hope a support group will help get me through these last few weeks.

- I had a lot of mixed feelings, 1st off pride then the thought of him leaving the nest scared me. But I am 100% supportive, I met his recruiter & we have become friends. All I think of is how proud I am and can't wait to see him in his uniform knowing he has finally made it all his hard work has paid off!

I did a quick search, but couldn't find a specific group! Start one....I'm sure that there are others who share the PIR date! If you build it....they will come!

Go to the Groups tab at the top of the page....Upper right corner, you will see + Add....Start a group for your PIR date and you will be off and running!
