Douglas, Welcome to NavyDads. My Grandson joined the Navy and went to Boot Camp in February, 2008. He Graduated and received his Trident in Oct. 2009 and is now with his Team. When I joined I knew very little about the Military. This site has helped me understand what to expect and relieved some of the worries I had.

Hey Douglas. I saw your comment about being at the pier when they pull in. How do we go about doing that. I would love to see that big boat coming in.

Douglas, when I talked to my son Sunday he confirmed the early arrival in HI, but said departure day was still the same.
