    Chrisy, you are right about the boat. I think this is the biggest boat out there and we are all family on a cruise. I had so many questions and concerns when my Grandson joined the Navy. I found that most all the answers I needed were here on this site and it really helped me. My GS has been on one deployment and returned back to the US safe and sound. It seem that if the Navy gives you a date for something you always write it in pencil since it will probably change several times.

In my experience someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the direction to find out. I'm blessed to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) was stationed on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and just re-enlisted, and my daughter Kat is a Navy vet and was stationed on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Chrisy this is a great place to brag as well! So join in, get active, and be sure to let us know how Chris is doing!
