it is always up to command to make the final decision....all you can do is contact the Red Cross and submit your request.....and I'm not sure about the not immediate family....when my mom died a number of years ago my daughter got leave from A-school to come out

No worries- been crazy on my end to. Hope you are feeling better- pneumonia is no fun at all! PIR video has been a nightmare since they changed away from LiveStream...at least I figured out how to get it on the main page. There is a comments feature, but not in real time as it's monitored and at least they are now posting the recorded vids: they weren't for a few weeks. I really think teh Navy forgot to push the RECORD button!
