The picture is of my two sons Nicholas and Jason with my new grand son Brady Alexander Twardowski . Poor kid trying to fit that name on one line. Gary T.
Joe, it will only get better. If you go back in the threads here, you will find answers to every question imaginable. Fear not, Robert is in good hands. My recommendation if you have not done so already is to send him a phone card and stamps. If you have his address start writing him immediately. Show him the support from home is there. He will not have much time to write back, usually on Sunday nights. I am sure you will have questions of him but don't expect many answers. Time is a premium for a recruit. You might consider a form letter with questions he can fill in the answers to. Send him information of local news to read. You will be his source of information for the next 9 weeks. Do not send him food, candy, musical cards. These only serve to cause them to do more I.T. or intensive training. My son Nick only received one call during his training. One reason was he had his wisdom teeth pulled the day they were to make calls. He did contact us the day he passed Battle Stations and received his sailor hat. I know you will have a ton more to ask. Give me a call at home. Send me an E-mail through this site and I will contact you and give you my cell and home numbers. Best of luck Gary T.

My name is Jeff and my son Todd left for bootcamp April 7th - he is in TG28 Division 209 and graduates May 29th. He is a nuke also (MM) and mentioned a good friend that he made by the name of DeLarosa and was wondering if your son was in TG 28 Division 209
