WHEN WILL MY RECRUIT GO THROUGH BATTLE STATIONS?
Battle Stations-21 is the recruits' final test that can take place anywhere from eight to two days prior to graduation. We do not give out the specific date your recruit's division will be taking this test nor do we allow the dates to be posted. We do not post any specific training details and we urge everyone to practice Operational Security by not posting such information.
"We do not give out any specific training schedules of the recruits including Battle Stations. Your recruit is the only one who is allowed to give you that information."
the entire quote was on my old computer which died last year, but I know it still holds....it IS on the RTC FB page- but as replies by RTC staff to comments made and are a pain to find in print........but I'll see what I can do
in essence: posting schedules would define a location and time where sailors would be massed. That is a no-no......
Just wanted to let you know that we just got a call from our daughter, Jessica. You were correct. She needed to her recruiter's phone number because the paperwork for her E2 rank had not come through. She is doing great and said she is in the top 20 of her division out of 70 recruits. Great to have communication. Thanks for the support.
We did not make any of the meet-N-greets. I,m sorry we did not get a chance to meet. Later on Friday evening my daughter in law mentioned she saw where you were. I guess we were too focused on everything else. Had an outstanding time, spent quality time with our son. I wanted to thank you personally for all the work you and your wife have done with the calls for recruits. It is outstanding this is done for the individuals needing them. We were able to spend time at midway sunday am with Randy, we did have to head out at 5:30am. At least Samantha was able to spend time also. great bonus. He is now as of midnight at NAS Pensacola.
Hi Ron
I understand you are willing to give out free phone cards. I don't know exactly how this works. Do I mail the info to my son (ship 07, div 129)?
If you could spare some, I'd be grateful. Thanks.
Ken
Hell Mr Bowen I would like to ask for some of the phone cards for my son Dalto who went to Boot Camp in the Great Lakes RTC on March 20th 2012 I don't know much about all this for I was not in the service.I would appreciate any help or feed back Thanks Charles Faulkner
No worries, I get in such a rush I ask the same questions over constantly. We are staying until Sunday also. Gambling for time with our son at the airport. From what I can tell he may be at o'hare as long as 10 hours or short as 4. It is worth the wait to spend time with him. He is going to A school in Pensacola. His rate is CTT. Glad to hear you got the call, this makes it the half way point. Have a great week.
We talked a little here on March 6, My son Randy just called his wife. She said he sounds good, but tired. They are not getting much sleep do to "homework". In a letter I sent him around 3-6 I asked about your son. Durring the phone conversation, Randy told his wife to tell me, he knows your son. Said he is a real good guy! But you and your wife know that for sure. Just thought a update from any source is good. Hope you got a call also. Have a great night. George
