Hi Elizabeth...sorry for the delay in repsonse...with the NING platform changeover and business I'm really behind! Glad to see you stop by the site...hope all is good with your sailor. Strange for me only haveing one sailor in the familiy now...Kat finished her enlistment a couple of months ago. I'm having trouble thinking of her in terms of a civilian....I keep wanting to ask how things are on the "Abe"!
Welcome to NavyDads Elle! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is on the tail end of a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). Glad to see the mom's site represented on NavyDads! Best Regards- Paul
I guess I should say hello...over the last couple of months EG and Terry have "promoted" me to admin around here...thought I'd drop a line and say "hey" and introduce myself! Best Regards- Paul
Hey Catherine ~ I know who you are now! I've been trying to figure it out since you added me to your friends list. After reading EG's comments, I know. I'm glad you encouraged EG to put this one together. I'm enjoying it even though I'm not a Dad. Hope things are going well for you. How is your son doing?
Hi Catherine. I just wanted to say hello. So give me your honest opinion how do you think it's coming along. I still want to know where you do your banners. I have a graphic designer working on some for me but it's not cheap. My son started a group ( Ask A Sailor). It seems to be working pretty well. Let me know what you think of it. Is this something that maybe the Navy would frown on? Keep in touch. EG
Hey, thanks for the thread, but that's a different "undercommunicated Mom". The original one I responded to was named Kelly or Kelley and said her son had been at GL for boot camp since early May. I gave her the numbers to PAO and Chaplain. Just wondered if sailor boy ever made contact.
By the way, do you have a sailor to keep track of?
Hi Catherine the Admin CPO, I appreciate the N4Ms site and your encouragement for NDs as well. By the way, what happened to the discussion from that lady (Kelly) who hadn't heard from her son? I looked but could not find it to follow up. Blessings, Kevin
Hello Catherine. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction on building this site. I would love to link together. I am new at this though so I don't really know how to do it. I'm Learning more everyday. Any info or tips would be more than appreciated. If you would like I could give you my cell number it might make it easier. Thank you again for the help and will be waiting to hear from you later. E.G.
