PIR Jan. 6 2012, SHIP 07 DIV 035
Hi any Parents out there with same SR's Ship. We have received the Box of our sons Stuff and our First letter a form letter with a quick note from our son. Seems like lots of people on this website are afraid of the cold I am from Minnesota and I love it. Just dress for it. My SR's Initials are JMB. Our son will go to Texas for HM (corpsman) training after PIR. His Job Title is FTSHM. We are Proud of our son!!

Good morning! Our son just reported to GL on Monday of this week (14th), and we received our "Sailor in a Box" in yesterday's mail. Have not received the form letter yet letting us know which ship and division he is assigned to; however, have already blocked a couple of hotel reservations for mid-January. I'm looking forward to Chicago-land in the winter!

Our son reported to Great lakes on Nov.7 and I beleive we got his box of stuff on that thurs. and we got the letter the following tuesday. We Just booked our hotel today. We wish you and your son the best of luck.

You're son will like FSH there is alot to see and do in San antonio. The training at FSH is top noch the best in the world!!
