I just read a letter from my son, he is very lonely and home sick. He says he cry's himself to sleep each night. I'm asking for prayers for all new recruits that are dealing with home sickness and asking God to watch over them. Give them the strength to carry on. And courage. God Bless all the new recruits

Prayers for my son who left for boot camp on 8/09/2016. Have not heard from him yet and waiting for that first phone call.  Also prayers for all our boot camp recruits that they stay healthy and graduate.

Almighty and eternal God,
those who take refuge in you will be glad
and forever will shout for joy.
Protect our Sailors as they discharge their duties.
Protect them with the shield of your strength
and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home
in safety, that with all who love them,
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen

Prayers out Bill.  The Lord gave him the strength to make it thru boot camp and A-school.....He will give him the strength to trust in his training and in his shipmates to excel.

Father hear the cry of your son, Bill. Give strength to his son and all those who are deployed or will be.  Give Peace to their parents.  Thanks for your Love and Faithfulness. Amen

Bill my daughter left for the middle east when she was 18.  I know how you're feeling.  All will be fine,  God Loves them more then we do.  He has a Plan.  We must let go and let God.  I'll continue to pray for you and your son.

I would like to send continuing prayer requests for my son Matt who is right now finishing up his final requirements in A school at Great Lakes. He is scheduled for an overseas deployment at the end of his A school and is just 21 years old. He has never been outside of the U.S. Before. He will be going on a ship and I am sure this whole process will be challenging and stressful, being away from home and family, etc. Please pray for him as he makes this huge transition in his life's journey. Thank you, Bill Harper

Bill, I will have your Son attending A-School in my prayers today.  Our son upon entering A-School dropped weight over the intensity of the program; he survived and now thrives, still loves his work.  Hang in there this too shall pass...God Bless.
