Navy Dads

Got a call from my son Greg today to say that he had passed his last exam in A School and went through Grad ceremonies today. He is now waiting on his Fleet orders as we all hope he is placed in San Diego based on a medical request for his mom.
I am so proud of his commitment to serve and his drive as he has made his own way to finish RTC and A School. I am truly in awe of my son.
God bless you Skippy, and God bless and keep all of our sailors and soldiers!

Paul,
Thank you for your response. I just read your review of PIR and I am happy for you and your son as well. Congratulations to the both of you! I share your sentiments of your son, about my son as well. PIR was probably one of the best weekends we have ever had together, and we have had some special times, as we all do with our kids. I was like you in that about all I had to do was look at him in his Dress Blues and see that my boy was now a man before I broke down.
Congrats to your entire family, and good luck to your son in HC school. God bless your son for his commitment and service, God keep him safe.

Congratulations to your son and to you and your family.  Strong Work on everyone's part!  Please thank your son for his service to the United States of America.  My son just PIR'd and settling into A-school for HM.  Prior to his entry into the Navy I was ignorant as to the commitment and sacrifices military men and women, and their families' must make and live with while they serve and beyond.  Suffice it to say, I am becoming enlightened.  Again, please thank your son for his service to this great country!
