Hello

My son Tyler L Sutter is in that division.  Have you heard from your recruit yet.  The only thing we got is the kid in a box & the PIR letter.

My son Brian is also in that division and his pir is scheduled for april 08 as well. We have not heard from him other than the kid in the box and the pir letter. I would guess they are pretty busy learning a new way of life military training the Navy way. He left on the ninth of Feb. which means he is probably 1/3 of his way through his boot camp. I read somewhere if a recruit was doing well then no news was good news. Believe in your  son and keep in touch.

We've actually gotten 2 letters (they both came the same day) from our son Brad, besides the kid-in-the-box and PIR letter.  And the old adage is true Van, no news is good news as far as boot camp...or the Navy in general...goes.

Great news for you and your wife. We are still waiting to hear from Brian. Someone has sent him a letter or card everyday since we were able to get his address. I hope everything is going alright with your son. Best wishes and GO-NAVY
