Welcome Aboard! My daughter in law is in her final 3 weeks at Great Lakes, then on to A School in Virginia Beach! This is a great website with LOTS of folks that can answer just about any question you might have about what your son is about to experience. Good luck to you, your family, and your sailor to be!

My daughter also left on August 2nd from Phoenix, AZ. We just received "THE BOX". My wife called me in tears. I am so proud of my daughter but this is tough. I'm sure it gets better. Maybe we'll be at PIR on the same day. Good luck to your son and your family.

My grandson left August 3rd as well. Waiting to hear what ship

and division he is in. Trying to plan when PIR will be.

I just heard from our son Austin (short phone call) yesterday.. All is well and will be able to write a letter  this Sunday to home. We should be finding out soon what ship and division they are on..

He is in Ship 02 Div 946 any others.

My son Grant is in Ship 02 Div 946 any others with family in that unit.

Hello everyone and congrats to all who graduated 9/27/2013. God Bless

would like to know if anyone videoed 9/27/2013 graduation.

My son is in the performance division and did not get to see it. Thank you much.
