My son also PIR on that date. Will be there with his uncle, grandfather, and his sister. Ship 12 Division 312. We are staying at the Hilton.

Homewood hilton in Linconshire?  That's where I am staying!

Unforatantly it is the Hilton Garden Inn in Lake Forest Mettawa. Too bad. We could have met for coffee.

How concerned should I be about not getting the pre-Sept 16 phone call yet?

WOW! We are coming from Blue Rock, Ohio..that's just South of Zanesville....Wonder if our SR's flew to Great Lakes together...Mine left on the 19th of July.

Heard from him today 307's call was rescheduled for today.
