Well it's  been 2 weeks and no news. I can only imagine that our young sailors are extremely busy in the quest of that Navy ball cap!! Not too much longer!! Any news would be helpful. See everyone 9 Nov 2012!!

try:

Recruit Training Command
3355 Illinois Street
Great Lakes , IL 60088

Phone:   Public Affairs Office 847-688-2405

and remember you only need that gate pass to drive/park on base.....shuttle/taxi- pass not needed

Congrats to Ship 3 Div 370 They received their Navy Ball Caps yesterday am!! Proud of our new US NAVY SAILORS!!! Including my son Christopher!!! See everyone Fri AM !!!!

Congrats to 370 and all the men and women graduating on Friday. My son is in 369 and we got our call yesterday, so we are leaving for Chicago in the morning. I am so proud of all the fine new additions to the US Navy.........GO NAVY!!!!!

I understand gates open 0630 Fri. Is this the gate to get on base or where they have PIR? Any info is appreciated

From my understanding, and I may be wrong, but the gate will be open at 6:30 am. Our plan is to be at the gate at 6:30.
