Sean, have you received a letter yet?  My son, Vincent, is in the same ship/div as Andrew.  It's going to be snowing there tomorrow!  Calamity

Hi Calamity, was hoping that I would hear from someone on here in the same ship/div ! We receive a letter on wed 29th with the form about thanksgiving and a letter from Andrew ! He did call my wife yesterday he earned a call for doing something lol. He thought they all may get a call Saturday if all went well!! Let's hope in the call he said he didn't think he was to put the letters in with the form being mailed but he did anyways. Did you get that form ? We are going for thanksgiving! Let me know if you get or hear anything and I will do the same, thanks Sean

No!  I haven't seen the letter regarding Thanksgiving, nor have I received a letter from Vince.  Are you close enough to drive for Thanksgiving, or are you flying?  We are still trying to budget the flight, etc. to GL for PIR!  Please keep me posted if you hear more from Andrew!

We haven't talked to Andrew since the other day. We are about 7 hrs away by car. We are trying to go since he seem like he wanted us to. I will be more than happy to let you know any info we get. Where are you guys from? We live in Ohio almost in PA. I'm surprised that we are the only two with kids in our div on here. Keep in touch

We are in Northern CA, 2 hr. north of SF.  I am also surprised we, so far are the only ones chatting about DIV 905.  Gosh, we miss Vince so bad, but just knowing how hard he is working is very inspiring.  Thanks for replying, some of these web sites are a little difficult to navigate, I still can't upload a photo for my profile.  Oh, well.  Keep in touch!  Go NAVY!!

Hang in there Sean and Calamity.  My son is with Ship 02, DIV 904 and I've not heard from anyone yet so glad to see at least two of you managed to touch base.  I managed to touch base with a couple other dads who have sons in other divisions but they are also at the same Dec 5th PIR. It's been good to keep in touch as we all make our ways through this stretch of 30+ days left. Good luck on your journeys and hope you hear from other 905-ers!

We got a call from Andrew today for about 15 minutes. I ask if he knew Vince but he said he only knows last names lol he said they all where doin well very glad that they got to make calls today. Hope everyone got a call from div 905

My boyfriend is Koriano and he is also on ship 02 div 905
You were right! I got a phone call today. Im glad I found some people who have loved ones in the same division. :)

Vince called, we were out for the day!  After I got over the despair from missing his call, I listened to his message several times, he is doing great, eating well and sleeping.  He was able to talk to his girlfriend, she said he really is happy, just missing us all.  Does anyone know if Sunday is the day they get to call, or could it be another day?  I am glued to the phone at this point!

I've gotten 1 call on a Sunday. And my son has made phone calls the last 2 Saturdays. My cell phone is always with me!!

Hi Calamity.  My son's 1st call was on a Sunday and then called again on a Friday (of the same week).  Not sure if that 2nd call was an earned call for the division...but like Chris, my phone is with me always and so is my wall and car charger!  Glad to hear your son is doing well.
