Hi Chuck,
My son is also in Ship 4 Div. 820.
We received letter but no package so Im wondering if he threw his clothes out or mailed home. Lol
We are waiting for second call :)
I didn't realize how hard it would be to not have my son around anymore :(

Hi Franky O,

Yeah it is pretty hard. Our daughter is away at college too, so this whole empty nest thing is hitting us. I think some of them do throw their clothes out, or they have an option to donate them too. There's a couple of Facebook Groups you might want to join. One is dedicated to our specific PIR date, and the other is an 800 Divisions group. Some people posted yesterday that they've received their first phone call and some have received several letters now. The calls have been from other divisions, but still in our PIR group.

Good luck with everything! I'm sure it will get easier! (for us anyway, lol)

My wife just called, she just got a 20 minute phone call from Charlie. He said he's having a great time, loves the whole experience. Hopefully you'll be getting your call soon.
