Jim - I'm on a few of the FB pages and while some do let dads join I know our Nuke mom's group doesn't.  It is mom's only. I'm more active on the N4M website but I like to follow along on FB for info. 

N4M was what got me through my sons journey through the nuke pipeline.  And like Margaret I have made friends through both and we are able to get together - it's pretty cool.  I know Margaret that you provide a vast amount of information on N4M and I for one always enjoy your posts :)

Thank you.  I try to write for the lurkers too, those who read but never post.  

I have a nuke nephew.  He just went shore duty as a prototype instructor.  More training for him, of course, but he just bought a house, and they have a one year old.  Happy as clams.

So, was this site down this weekend as well? Seems several Navy websites weren't working this weekend. Made me wonder about a conspiracy.

Brad - I had a problem getting on this site this weekend too!  Even earlier this morning I couldn't get on but glad to see it's working now.  We're still working on the mom's site too.....

Hey guys! Yes, we were down starting sometime on Saturday until just earlier this afternoon. I don't think it's the same issue that N4M is having. NING is still going through some ownership changes and they are a bit overwhelmed I think. So hopefully, we'll not go down again.

I also noted NavyCool was down as well, as was one other Navy site. What the heck is going on here? Have we gone to Silence mode? Something in the works not wanted talked about?

if you type in "navyformoms.com" it should redirect you to the site....it just did for me....do not type in the www.

and kind of curious about this statement- as far as I know there is no "NavyCool"....there is however http://www.cool.navy.mil/
