Biography


Andrew Shrump was born in Washington, Pennsylvania. His parents are Chuck & Debby and his siblings are Adam & Alyssa. Andrew was homeschooled all the way through school, graduating in 2006 while earning his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts.


Andrew began his enlistment in the Navy in February of 2008. His Pass In Review was April 4, 2008, and was selected to be in the honor guard. He attended Aviation Electricians Mate A school in Pensacola, Florida, and was then sent to Whidbey Island, Washington, for C school, where he graduated in December 2008. Andrew is stationed with Patrol Squadron 4 on the Marine Corps Base Hawaii.


He has made some great friends at work and through activities at the base chapel. Andrew enjoys music, especially the Beatles. He enjoys playing soccer and following the Pittsburgh Penguins. He loves spending time with his new friends and learning to surf and kayak.
